About the Company

A global product company in the smart energy sector, building scalable platforms and IoT-driven solutions for next-generation energy systems.

The Role

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will lead application security initiatives and work closely with engineering teams to build secure, scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AppSec initiatives across the SDLC, including threat modeling and design reviews
• Strengthen security across Kubernetes, microservices, and APIs
• Identify and validate application vulnerabilities
• Develop automation solutions using scripting and modern tools
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams
• Define and promote security standards and best practices
• Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering
• Strong expertise in application security
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and distributed systems
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, C#, Rust)
• Experience with automation and modern development tools
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and penetration testing
• Strong communication skills and fluent English

Nice to Have

• Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with OT/ICS or embedded security
• Background in security architecture
• Security certifications (OSCP, OSWE, etc.)
