Role Overview

Title: Specialist ICT Security Innovations and Analysis

Department: Cyber & Transactional Security

Reporting to: Head of Cyber & Transactional Security

Key Responsibilities

Conduct continuous research on cyber trends, emerging attack techniques, and new technologies.

Lead Proof‑of‑Concepts (PoCs) for modern security solutions (AI/ML analytics, zero‑trust, cloud-native security, SOAR automation).

Analyse global threat intelligence and produce strategic insights for SOC, IR, and leadership.

Support the enhancement of security architecture with innovative and scalable solutions.

Benchmark and optimize current security tooling, identifying improvement opportunities.

Prepare high-quality reports, whitepapers, and executive briefs on risks and innovations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains (network, endpoint, cloud, identity, application security).

Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence platforms, and cloud security tools.

Familiarity with AI/ML security applications and automation.

Analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, SC‑200/300.
