Senior Offensive Security Specialist

Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria, is growing, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join us in the Senior Offensive Security Specialist position. You’ll be part of an international team, working in a vibrant environment that encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas both onsite and offsite.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the operational IT security of the PHOENIX group Competence Centre IT & Digital.
• Plan, coordinate, execute and document penetration tests.
• Oversee externally conducted penetration tests and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders.
• Continuously improve and develop our penetration testing service.
• Collaborate with Service Management to enhance service offerings and ensure that our capabilities meet business requirements.
• Act as the central point of contact for penetration test requests, including initial alignment and scope clarification.

Your Profile:

• Degree in computer science or training with IT-technical background or comparable professional experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of IT security and in the implementation of IT security measures, qualifications requirements as OSCP, OSEP etc. are an advantage.
• Experience in the planning and execution of penetration tests.
• Knowledge with cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365), EDR/XDR solutions and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001) is desirable.
• Independent, structured work, analytical skills, service orientation, enjoyment of new technologies and a high willingness to learn, ability to work in a team.
