IAM Developer

Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria, is growing, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join us in the IAM Developer position. You’ll be part of an international team, working in a vibrant environment that encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas both onsite and offsite.

Your Responsibilities:

• Development and configuration of NetIQ Identity Manager.
• Building and customizing integrations — typically small applications that use the target system’s REST APIs or other endpoints.
• Implementing rules, policies, and workflows for the identity lifecycle.
• Modeling roles and access policies.
• Troubleshooting, optimization, and further development of the solution.

Your Profile:

Identity & Access Management

• Experience with NetIQ Identity Manager (IdM) or IBM Tivoli Identity Management (Nice to have).
• Understanding of identity lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of role modeling, role mining, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Experience with access governance, policies, and workflows.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP and REST APIs.

Development & Integration

• Strong skills in JavaScript (NetIQ drivers are built with ECMAScript).
• Experience building integrations using REST APIs.
• Ability to configure, develop, build, and deploy solutions in NetIQ Designer (Eclipse based).

Automation & Workflows

• Experience implementing rules, policies, and automation related to user provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Understanding of workflow design within IAM or IGA platforms.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Ability to troubleshoot complex IAM issues.
• Skills in debugging Java based integrations.
• Experience optimizing performance and ensuring stability of IAM components.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications are an advantage, such as:
• Identity and Access Management certifications (e.g., from OpenText/NetIQ, IBM, SailPoint, Okta).
• Security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
• Java development certifications (optional but useful).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with other IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, One Identity, ForgeRock).
• Knowledge of directory services, LDAP, or SAML/OAuth/OIDC.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and hybrid IAM architectures.
