Описание

The world of global advisory, audit and tax compliance services for large multi-nationals is rapidly changing and heavily dependent on technology.

The KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is a KPMG special purpose member firm offering a way for clients to leverage KPMG top talent and technology platforms through regional teams of specialists, enabling economies of scale and a new way of working that expands beyond local capability.

As a member of KDN, you'll be a part of the KPMG family working alongside some of our profession's most skilled practitioners on rewarding programs and initiatives that are changing the way business operates, delivering value to our clients, and driving positive change in the communities we serve.

And through your work, you'll build a global network and unlock opportunities that you may not have thought possible, with access to great support, vast resources, and an inclusive, supportive environment to help you reach your full potential.

Our KDN Bulgaria Cyber team supports technology-enabled cyber transformation and delivery for KPMG member firms and clients, bringing together market-facing leadership, cyber specialists and multidisciplinary delivery capabilities.

We are looking for an experienced Director to lead a team of cyber technology professionals serving the Irish market. Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, the role includes approximately 30% business travel to Ireland and combines strategic account development, technology-enabled cyber delivery, commercial leadership and people management.

Job Description

Delivery Leadership

  • Act as the primary communication bridge between Irish client stakeholders and the Sofia delivery team, translating complex or ambiguous business needs, regulatory pressures and client problem statements into actionable technical work packages and clear engineering requirements.
  • Provide senior oversight across a portfolio of Cyber technology engagements, ensuring clear governance, robust delivery plans and measurable client outcomes.
  • Guide clients on the practical application of Cyber technologies and controls across cloud security, identity and access management, security engineering, DevSecOps, security operations, managed detection and response, vulnerability management and technology risk.
  • Ensure teams translate technical findings and Cyber risks into clear business implications, prioritized actions and investment decisions.
  • Maintain effective executive governance across engagements, proactively managing delivery, commercial, dependency and stakeholder risks.
  • Promote reusable assets, standardized methods, automation and managed-service models that improve quality, speed and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engagement, independence, information security, quality and risk management requirements.

Account Leadership

  • Develop and execute a focused growth plan for Cyber technology services in the Irish market, aligned with the wider Cyber strategy and priority sectors.
  • Build trusted relationships with client executives, CISOs, CIOs and other senior stakeholders across key accounts.
  • Translate client priorities, regulatory pressures and technology transformation agendas into relevant Cyber propositions and account plans.
  • Originate and qualify opportunities, lead discovery discussions and maintain a disciplined pipeline with clear actions, owners and conversion milestones.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for strategic accounts and major pursuits, ensuring continuity from opportunity shaping through mobilization and delivery.
  • Represent the practice at client forums, market events and alliance discussions, strengthening its profile as a trusted Cyber technology partner.
  • Craft and deliver concise, high-impact value propositions and elevator pitches tailored to C-level executives and board members, translating technical posture into business risk and success-story language.

Business Development

  • Lead and actively participate in shaping client propositions, proposals, presentations, commercial models and executive-level solution narratives.
  • Collaborate with Cyber specialists, sector teams, alliance partners and delivery centers to create differentiated and scalable solutions.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in technical presales, drafting and converting early-stage client discovery into billable engagements.
  • Apply strong commercial judgement to pricing, resourcing, contracting and delivery models while protecting quality and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.

People Leadership

  • Create and operate a transparent work management framework and prioritized backlog for the Cyber Technology team, covering client engagements, pursuits, RFP contributions, solution development, market materials, reusable assets and capability-building activities. Ensure team members consistently understand their highest-priority next assignment, maximizing utilization, productivity and value creation during periods between client engagements.
  • Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team of Cyber technology professionals, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Own capability and workforce planning for the Irish market, including skills assessment, recruitment priorities, succession planning and deployment.
  • Balance client demand with team capacity, utilization, wellbeing and sustainable delivery.
  • Build communities of practice and encourage collaboration across locations, Cyber disciplines and technology alliances.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in Cyber security, technology consulting, managed security services or a related field, including substantial leadership responsibility.
  • A strong track record of growing client relationships, originating opportunities and converting complex requirements into commercially viable engagements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and delivering complex Cyber programmes in a professional services or comparable environment.
  • Broad knowledge across several Cyber technology domains, with sufficient depth to challenge solution designs, delivery approaches and technical assumptions.
  • Working knowledge of relevant frameworks and regulatory expectations, including NIST, ISO 27001, DORA, NIS2 and applicable Irish and EU requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cyber security, computer science, engineering, information systems, business or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or equivalent are desirable.
  • Executive presence and the ability to establish credibility with senior client and internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen, disciplined pipeline management and a strong bias for action.
  • Ability to connect business strategy, risk and technology in clear, compelling language.
  • Inclusive leadership, sound judgement and the ability to motivate teams through ambiguity and change.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, quality, client confidentiality and responsible risk management.
