Head of IT Security Strategic Development and Architecture Team

DSK Bank is looking for a Head of IT Security Strategic Development and Architecture teamto lead the security architecture function and shape the Bank’s secure-by-design technology landscape.

This is a team lead role with strong technical depth, responsible for aligning all new business initiatives, IT projects, and architectural changes with security, regulatory, and best‑practice requirements in a highly regulated environment.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop the IT Security Architecture & Strategy team
• Review, assess, and approve new IT architectures, systems, and solutions from a security perspective
• Define security requirements for new projects, technologies, and vendor solutions
• Ensure early security involvement in design and planning to mitigate risks
• Guide secure-by-design, Zero Trust, and risk‑based security approaches
• Participate in architecture boards, design reviews, and major technology initiatives
• Work closely with IT, business, risk, legal, procurement, and external providers
• Develop internal security architecture standards, principles, and methodologies

What we’re looking for

• University degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years experience in information security, security/IT architecture, or technology risk
• Proven experience assessing and approving complex IT and cloud architectures
• Experience leading teams or coordinating complex technology initiatives
• Strong understanding of networks, infrastructure, identity & access management, cloud, data protection, and application security
• Solid knowledge of regulations and standards (DORA, NIS2, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, EBA, BNB)
• Excellent communication skills and very good English

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or other highly regulated environments
• Background as Security Architect / Solution Architect / IT Security Lead
• Experience with cloud and hybrid environments
• Professional certifications (security, architecture, cloud, or project management)
