THE CROWN IS YOURS

As a Senior Security Engineer, you’ll strengthen the security of the IT systems our workforce relies on every day. You’ll build and improve security tooling, automate workflows, and investigate threats to keep our environments secure, responsive, and resilient. Working with security analysts, engineers, and technical system owners, you’ll turn findings into stronger protections and shape the security improvements we prioritize next.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build tooling and processes that protect our workforce’s IT systems, with a focus on endpoint detection and response (EDR), data loss prevention (DLP), and email security.
• Maintain and improve security tools, using automation, quality assurance processes, and feedback loops to improve effectiveness and reduce manual work.
• Partner with security analysts, security engineers, and technical system owners to understand differences between expected and actual system behavior.
• Shape the Enterprise Security roadmap in partnership with your manager and peers, balancing business needs with operational improvements to establish what we prioritize next and why.
• Conduct targeted threat hunting to identify security threats, deepen our understanding of the environment, and develop detections and automation based on your findings.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment where we share knowledge and learn from one another.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• At least 5 years of experience in information security, developing technology and processes that improve the coverage and effectiveness of security tooling across corporate IT and complex platform environments.
• Experience with some combination of mobile device management (MDM), EDR, DLP, and cloud security tooling.
• Broad knowledge of operating systems, file systems, networking, common protocols, public cloud security, and automation, including how to secure the systems and environments you support.
• The ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Experience managing complex changes in larger organizations, including developing and executing communication and implementation plans.
• Flexibility to participate in periodic off-hours escalation rotations with our team.
