Security Analyst

Our international Group IT team is responsible for ensuring a secure and reliable IT environment across locations. We are looking for an experienced Security Analyst to join our team and contribute to the monitoring, detection, and analysis of security threats and incidents.

If you have professional experience in analysing security events, strong analytical thinking, technical understanding, and the ability to critically assess events and identify anomalies, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring network traffic and log files for signs of anomalies or security breaches

• Conducting security assessments and risk analyses

• Supporting the investigation of security incidents and developing suitable response strategies

• Preparing security reports and recommendations for management

• Updating security measures based on the latest threat landscape

• Collaborating across locations with teams in Germany and Bulgaria and actively contributing to the further development of our security processes

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science, IT security, or a related field – alternatively, an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience in an IT security environment

• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems

• Knowledge of analysing security logs and network data

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are an advantage

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

• Willingness to participate in security on-call duty

• Very good English skills for working in an international team; German skills are an advantage
